FROM THE OFFICE

We are excited to kick off the 2021/2022 school year in just a few short days!  Filling the halls with your smiling, energetic students will be a blessing.  As we reflect on last school year, we continue to be amazed by the Lord’s mercy to us.  We go forward, not presuming upon His past mercies, but praying for them and trusting that He will continue to provide all of the wisdom, grace, and strength we need to navigate whatever challenges may come.  Please pray with and for us.  To Him be the glory!

  • Complete Moms’ Helper / Bradford Plus registration 
  • EDUCATE to do:
    • Log in to account 
    • Set up Urgent Alert preferences
    • Set up Household Directory preferences
  • TADS to do:
    • Update contact information, if relevant
    • Update Authorized Pick Up list
  • Request more Yellow Car Tags from office, if needed
  • Sync Calendar with Bradford’s online calendar 
  • Add school phone # to your contacts:  919-563-9001
  • Add afterschool phone # to your contacts:  336-494-8016
  • UPPER SCHOOL to do:
    • Create student gmail account (if not already)
    • Complete and submit athletic forms
    • Submit updated immunization records (7th and 12th)

IMPORTANT DATES

  • AUG 9:  Lower School Archer Night, K – 5th
  • AUG 10:  1st day of school for 6th – 12th (full day)
  • AUG 11:  1st day of school for K – 5th (½ day) 
  • AUG 12: 
    • First day for Bradford Plus care
    • Archer Night for TK
  • AUG 17:  1st  day of school for TK
  • SEPT 6:  Labor Day, no school

EVENT DETAILS

AUG 9:  Lower School Archer Night
  • (Previously known as Open House)
  • K – 5th grades – students should wear Bradford polo
  • At Main Campus (MC)
  • Appointments will be offered for 5:00, 5:30, 6:00, 6:30pm  (See Signup Genius link)
  • Check-in at the tent before entering the building
  • All will meet with Mr. Johnston, then meet the teachers and visit classrooms
AUG 10:  Upper School FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL
  • Wear dress uniform
  • 7:30 earliest drop off time
  • 3:00 dismissal
  • No afterschool care provided.
AUG 11:  Lower School FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL
  • Wear dress uniform
  • 7:40 earliest drop off time
  • 9:00 – Kindergarten drop off (first day of school only)
    • Parents of kindergarten students  will drop off in the car line, then may park and come enjoy donuts and coffee.
  • NOON DISMISSAL for all K – 5th!!  No afterschool care provided.
AUG 12:  First day of Bradford Plus (afterschool care)
AUG 12:  Transitional Kindergarten Archer Night
  • (Previously known as Orientation)
  • 6:00 pm
  • Main Campus
AUG 17:  Transitional Kindergarten FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL 
  • 7:40 earliest drop off time
  • Moms’ Helper (afterschool care for TK students) begins.
