Luke 10:27 “And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.”

Romans 12:2  “Do not be conformed to this world,[c]but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”What happens in the realm of the mind is no small matter.  How a child learns and what a child learns will set the course for a lifetime.

God calls us to love Him with our mind (Luke 10:27).   We are also called to be transformed by the renewing of our minds (Romans 12:2).  This positive transformational thinking starts young and sets our children on a certain course for life.  The Proverbs remind us to “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it. ” (Proverbs 22:6)  In Ephesians chapter six, fathers receive the explicit command regarding their children to “bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.” (Eph. 6:4).  Bradford Academy is dedicated to aiding parents in this great task!
